‘Arcade Games Galore in The Gaslamp’
By Frank Sabatini Jr.
We’re tapping into our inner tween at the neon-lit arcade that just opened as part of the 7,000-square-foot Smoking Gun bar and restaurant in the Gaslamp.
Call it “action dining” as patrons partake in skee ball, air hockey, and video hot-rod driving while sipping cocktails and chomping into burgers, ribs, brisket tacos, and more.
The arcade occupies a back area of the restaurant that was previously used for storage. It’s been cleared to accommodate more than 20 different games, which include the classics like Pac-Man and Galaga. Customers can enter the arcade from within the restaurant or through an outside entrance on Sixth Avenue. Food and drinks are permitted inside the arcade.
