Bring Along Luna, Spot, Rocky, and Cooper…

…and the rest of your canine gang to this year’s Barks & Brews Fest, which will be held from 12:30 to 6p, March 18, at downtown’s Waterfront Park. And if you’re so inclined to enter Poochie into a pet-friendly beauty contest of sorts, feel free to dress them up for the occasion.

More than 25 local breweries will join a variety of pet retail vendors for the sprawling event, which will also feature areas where dogs can enjoy the day leash-free. In an effort to keep them safe, those areas will be divided for different-sized dogs.

Suds and other adult beverages will be poured by companies such as The Dog Society (no doubt), plus Mike Hess Brewing, Belching Beaver, Alesmith, Babe Kombucha, Juneshine and others.

Tickets range from $25 to $48, based on the inclusion of complimentary beer pours.
