Go big or go home – or you could do both at The Electra, the tallest residential building in San Diego. Located in the Columbia District, The Electra stands at a staggering 43 stories tall. It contains 248 residences, and its unique name is derived from its roots. A San Diego Gas and Electric facility once occupied the same ground as The Electra, and the downstairs rec room shares the same walls as the sub-station facility that sat in its place before. 

The tallest residential building in the city is home to some wonderful features and amenities, including a fitness center, property oasis, and conservatory, among other things. The Electra also boasts a short “100 steps to the water’s edge.” The surrounding Columbia District is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in San Diego due to its premium location and surrounding attractions and commodities.
