Hillcrest Makes Way for ‘Onyx on Park’

Funding has been secured for a 61-unit apartment structure that will occupy the space between 3922 and 3932 Park Blvd.

Onyx on Park will rise seven stories at an initial building cost of $27 million. Designed with over-sized windows set against a smoky black exterior, the project is scheduled for completion in late 2023.

It will feature one and two-bedroom floor plans averaging around 915 square feet. The investor, DiversyFund Inc, stated that the units “will be largely affordable” but without divulging rent prices yet. The company further describes the venture as a “high-quality multi-family community situated within Hillcrest’s dining, entertainment, and shopping options.”
