Little Italy Serenaded by an Italian Celebrity

Already famous in her native Italy, and on the up-and-up in the U.S., singer Antonella Calabrese has secured an ongoing gig in the newly launched “Music in the Park(let) Series,” held from 5:30 to 8:30p every Wednesday in the parklet alongside Civico 1845 restaurant.

The Calabrian-born vocalist has been belting out soul, dance, and classic Italian music since first participating in a televised music contest in Italy in the late 1990s. She more recently became known from her appearances on X Factor and The Voice of Italy. She has also performed at music events throughout Ireland, including at the annual Guinness Cork Jazz Festival.

We’re told that Calabrese’s current weekly performances will continue “well into next year.” Reservations are encouraged but not required.
