New Gallery Opens in Mission Hills

Several rooms full of bold and edgy art greeted attendees late last month during the grand opening of SD Art Advisory, a new two-level space showcasing works in various mediums by local, regional and international artists. More than 150 people turned up for the occasion.

Curators Alexander Salazar and Darcy Kempton have so far brought in eye-catching pieces by more than a dozen artists, whose works range from Picasso-like portraits and mineral-studded surf boards to abstract paintings and mixed media imagery.

In addition, the gallery has teamed up with artist and dealer Chris Trueman to soon present an exclusive salon for purchasing NFT art.
