Two North Park Breweries Take Home the Gold

A number of San Diego breweries won various medals at this season’s Great American Beer Festival, which is held annually in Denver. But grabbing some of the gold ones were Rouleur Brewing Company and North Park Beer Company, both of which have facilities and tasting rooms in North Park. A third gold medal went to BNS Brewing & Distilling in Santee.

Rouleur earned the attention of the judges with its Domestique Blonde Ale in the Belgian-French style category. North Park Beer Company appealed to the panel with its feisty NZ-FU! IPA within the English-New Zealand IPA category. It also netted the honors of ‘2022 Brewery of the Year.’

The competition was stiff given that it received more than 9,900 entries across 98 categories. A complete list of winners can be seen here.
