Eat Your Way Through Mission Hills
By Frank Sabatini Jr.
This year’s Taste of Mission Hills from 5-9p, Oct. 12, will see an increased number of restaurants doling out samples of their latest and greatest menu items. The 2021 event featured 25 vendors. This year it welcomes more than 30.
They include Jo’s Diner, Cardellino, Thorn Brewing Mission Hills, Meshuggah Shack, Venissimo Cheese, Rubicon Deli, Lefty’s Chicago Pizzeria, and the neighborhood’s new butcher shop, The Meatery,
Now in its 10th year, the foodie fest serves as a fundraiser for the Mission Hills Improvement District.
The event is limited to 600 people. Tickets are $35 in advance, and $40 on the day of the event.
