Imaginations run wild at the annual Festival of Trees (Facebook/Festival of Trees)

Glitzy, Campy Holiday Trees Will Take Over a Hillcrest Nightclub

By Frank Sabatini Jr.

The sixth annual Festival of Trees at Rich’s on University Avenue will transform the club’s dance floor and adjoining patio into a dramatic wonderland of artificial trees decorated elaborately by local businesses and designers. The event will be held from 4:00p to 8:00p, Nov. 22.

Fashion maven Carson Kressley of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy fame will serve as host and auctioneer.

The festival is sponsored by BGCA (Big Gay California) and serves as a fundraiser for LGBT resources, which this year includes Stepping Stone as a beneficiary.

Tickets are $55 for general admission and $110 for VIP entry.
