San Diego Theatre Month Is Here!

Don’t let the rising costs of groceries and gas prevent you from planting your caboose in a theater seat this month. The San Diego Performing Arts League has brought together an array of plays and musical productions throughout San Diego County that will offer discounted prices from now until March 31. Tickets to a variety of shows are $15, $30 or $45.

Among the urban venues offering reduced admissions is the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park, where Sideways Stories From Wayside School is being presented by San Diego Junior Theatre through March 15.

A tangled love story titled We Are Continuous will be presented March 9 at the Diversionary Theatre in University Heights; and various improvisational performances at the National Comedy Theatre in Mission Hills are in the offing as well.

In addition, discounted tickets for this summer’s presentation of The Comedy of Errors at the Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park (July 27–31) are up for grabs until the end of this month.

Venues with other productions taking part outside the city center include the Lamb’s Players Theatre in Coronado; North Coast Repertory Theatre in Solana Beach; and Scripps Ranch Theatre in Scripps Ranch.
