The Q

Some places have names that explicitly tell you something about them. For example, Bayside in San Diego is, you guessed it, by the bay. Some aren’t so aptly named. One such example is The Q – a mixed-use building comprised of residential, commercial, and office spaces. You’ll find The Q located at the north end of Little Italy.

Developed by decorated architect Jonathan Segal, The Q is a model of a modern style. The building sits at seven stories tall and houses 27 residences, ranging anywhere from intimate lofts to Segal’s private penthouse residence of 7000 sq/ft. In the retail space, there’s a Japanese and Italian restaurant. The surrounding neighborhood of Little Italy is located in a great spot in the city, with highlights being proximity to the Bay, Balboa Park, the airport, and fantastic attractions within the neighborhood. The “Q” could possibly stand for “Question,” and The Question could be “Why haven’t you moved in yet?”
