Towering Development Coming to Hillcrest
By Frank Sabatini Jr.
What could rank as the tallest structure yet to emerge in Hillcrest is on the planning table by Reda Development Company, based in Newport Beach.
The 20-story luxury apartment building will likely be named after its address: 4002 Park, which will rise from a half-acre plot on Park Boulevard near Lincoln Avenue. It will feature 195 units (mostly two and three bedrooms), plus 3,000-square-feet of street-level retail space, and a rooftop pool and fitness center. Above-grade parking is also part of the blueprint.
The project has yet to break ground. It’s expected to be completed in mid-2027.
Reba has built similar housing projects in Sacramento as well as commerce and medical centers throughout California.
