Looking Ahead in New Development

The developers of such San Diego high rises like Diamond View Tower and the Sempra Energy Headquarters have set their sights on the East Village for a mixed-use residential structure that will encompass a 36,000-square-foot Target store.
The 22-story building is slated to open in 2021 at 9th Avenue and G Street under the name Cisterra 9G. Tailored for those with “bold, hip, and creative” tastes, the project will flaunt 241 multi-family units featuring luxury amenities such as pool and roof decks, a fitness center, a game room, sleek lounges, and a dog park. In keeping with 21st-century creature comforts, residents will also have access to an outdoor theater.
