It’s the kind of festival beer aficionados are craving after a year of restrictions on bars and breweries. We’re putting it out there early because tickets are selling fast for the Untapped Beer Festival, to be held Oct. 1-3 at Petco Park.
The debut event is set to host more than 70 breweries, which will pour their latest and greatest creations in tasting sessions lasting three-and-a-half hours each. Yes, you can drink unlimited samples in that amount of time, or you can sit on your caboose at home and enjoy the festivities in virtual format. If doing so, participants get 10 selected beers delivered to their doors while viewing the activity online.
Tickets are $65 for general admission and $150 for VIP access, which tacks on an extra hour of tasting time and includes tours and samples of exclusive brews.
